This is Mosley and he's a darn good cat! He's quite a big boy. And long. Not fat. Nothing fat about him but pick him up and it feels like a furry hunk of rock. And on top of that, he is the nicest guy!
Mosley is steady, calm. He's got that way of sitting, contemplating that makes it seem like everything is under control. Not that his life has been easy. When his people were evicted from their trailer, he and all the cats were dumped outside and left on their own.
Mosley walked into the foster home with 5 other cats and never batted an eye as the other cats hissed or growled to let the newcomer know they weren't pushovers. He just looked at them and waited for them to get over it. No hissing back.
He fit in easily. He is polite at mealtime and doesn't bother the other cats' food. He does have the bad habit of jumping on the counter to see what is there, but he's learning that it's not a good habit.
He loves to go for walks with his person. He stays close and doesn't wander off. He would be the perfect cat for someone who wants a true an steady buddy to share inside and outside time with. He will need a place where he can go into the yard on his own. He's a smart boy. He has no intention of leaving a loving home.
He loves affection and asks to sit on lap and get cuddles. He purrs and nudges your hand for pets. He's such a gentle soul. So well behaved. He would be a great cat for a good family, hopefully with people who will interact with him, give him pets, take him for walks, and give him all the love and care that he very much deserves.
A cat like Mosley does not come around often. If you're looking for a companion and friend who will be a steady rock in your life, he's the guy.
He's in Homer. Please call Clear Creek Cat Rescue at 907 980-8898
