Ekerini spent months surviving outside, but every day she knew exactly where to find kindness. She would wait at the neighborhood bus stop to walk home with her favorite person, collecting dinner, plenty of pets, and a little more trust each evening. Once it was clear she didnt belong to anyone, Ekerini finally got the chance she deserved.

Now that shes experienced life indoors, she has no interest in going back. This sweet 2-year-old girl is a professional couch potato who loves nothing more than curling up beside you for a cozy night of television and snuggles. Ekerini gets along wonderfully with the resident dog and cat in her foster home, but shes confident and easygoing enough to thrive as the center of attention, too. All shes looking for now is a forever family to walk through life with, just as faithfully as she once walked home from the bus stop.
