Some cats need time to warm up. Mic Drop is already making himself at home before you've finished introducing yourself. This handsome 1.5-year-old brown tabby was born and raised in a Northeast DC colony, where a kind caretaker looked after him until he was able to connect with rescue resources and help Mic Drop find his way to us. While many cats from outdoor colonies need time to adjust to indoor life, Mic Drop embraced it from day one. Outgoing, affectionate, and endlessly charming, he's the kind of cat who wants to be part of everything you're doing. He loves toys, cozy naps, and spending time with his people. If there's a lap available, he'll gladly claim it. If there's a soft blanket nearby, he'll test it for maximum comfort. And if you're working from home, expect him to take his role as office supervisor very seriously, making sure you take plenty of breaks for pets, belly rubs, and snacks. Mic Drop is happiest when he's near his foster family, whether that's curled up beside them for a nap or keeping a watchful eye on household activities. As social as they come, he would likely do well with another friendly cat who enjoys companionship. We aren't sure how he feels about dogs, but we do know that he loves people and is always ready to make a new friend. After spending the first chapter of his life outdoors, Mic Drop has made it abundantly clear that he was meant for the comforts of home. Now all he needs is a forever family to share them with.
