Here we have Jack !

Jack is a charmer despite having a rough & rocky road along the way . It began with being hit by a car witnessed by a volunteer who came to his rescue . He was fortunate there were no serious injuries identified at vet visit but definitely had pain in need of addressing.
As much as we were relieved when Jack was no longer having pain , he had lost his cat confidence and needed to adapt to his present circumstances of shelter life . He got neutered and although hormone levels were decreasing, he was restless and wanted out. Seeing other cats made him feel like he needed to bully a bit to claim his new territory . During one of these differences of opinion , a volunteer was attempting to intervene and “break it up” when Jack bit her leg . There have been no other bites but the bullying of other cats continues though at a much lesser frequency and intensity . He may even be in the early stages of developing coexisting relationships with a couple of laid back , non intrusive cats . At this time it’s still recommended he be your one and only in an adult only home .He is neutered , vaccinated microchipped and otherwise ready to begin a new chapter, hopefully the last chapter where he lives happily ever after .
