Domestic Short Hair and Tiger Cats Available for Adoption in Sanford, Florida

LOUISA (FIV POSITIVE)

Domestic Short Hair, Tiger
🇺🇸
Sanford, Florida
May 25th
female, small, adult

DESCRIPTION

Louisa is a pretty 3 year old female. She came to the shelter as a stray and would love a new home to call her own.

Louisa is a special girl, she has FIV. This is a species specific disease that can not be transmitted to humans and other animal species. FIV is mainly passed to other cats through deep bite wounds, the kind that occur during aggressive fights and territorial disputes. Cats with FIV can live a long, happy life. Louisa should be an INSIDE ONLY cat, be fed a nutritionally complete and balanced diet, have regular vet visits and be seen promptly if a medical issue arrises.

Louisa weighs 6 pounds, is up to date on shots, and is already spayed, so she can go to her forever home the same day she is adopted.

For more information about Louisa or FIV, reference Louisa's ID number A545639 when visiting the shelter. You are not required to fill out an online inquiry form. For more information about FIV or adopting from Seminole County Animal Services contact Diane Gagliano at 407-665-5208 or DGagliano@seminolecountyfl.gov
