Creme Brulee - Domestic Medium Hair Cat for Adoption in Salisbury, Massachusetts

Creme Brulee is an almost 3-year-old girl who arrived at the shelter in August 2025 from a hoarding situation. She is a very sweet girl who has really blossomed since arriving at MRFRS.
Her transformation has not just been mental, but physical. When she first arrived, her fur was short to medium in length. After receiving regular care and food, her coat began to grow and fill in, and she is now a gorgeous, fluffy, long-haired cat!
When she first arrived, she was understandably scared and unsure about the new environment and unfamiliar people. After a few months of patience, she gradually began to accept gentle pets from the humans she was most familiar with. After a few more months, she really began to let her guard down and show her affectionate nature! She can still be timid at first approach (especially with unfamiliar people!), but she is quick to warm up and will practically melt into your hand when you give her gentle neck/shoulder scratches! She is a petite little lady, but like most cats, she enjoys a variety of yummy foods and treats, especially Temptations Treats!
She gets along well with other cats. She does not seem to seek them out and is respectful and cordial, though she is often found sleeping with or near other cats. We think she would enjoy having another cat in the home, as long as the other cat is well-mannered. While she would enjoy the presence of another cat, we also think she would be perfectly happy being your one and only!
Creme Brulee is a very gentle, laid-back, sometimes timid, curious, and deeply loving girl. When she feels comfortable, she also has a playful side and will adorably bat toy mice around the room. Even when playing, she seems very gentle with the toys, which is a testament to her sweet nature. She is still growing and discovering new experiences, and we think she will continue to blossom and thrive in the right home; she is ready to open her heart and become part of a real family!
