Jorge the Cowboy - Domestic Short Hair Cat Available for Adoption in Salisbury, Massachusetts

Jorge the Cowboy is a 2-year-old boy who came to us as a stray.

Foster mom says: "This Little One is so gentle, docile, and softly affectionate anytime he is near. Petting him can go on and on if I prefer. He's very trusting, and loves to be loved. I do believe he likes a quiet environment, but some noise doesn't seem to matter. He gets a bit anxious by any outside car doors opening and closing accompanied by voices, otherwise he's extremely mellow. Always by my side, or on my lap. Though he relaxes mostly under the bed, when he is up and out, he is always near me without being needy. He's got a great appetite, and does enjoy purina squeeze treats on occasion. Brushing him is so welcomed and also helps with his beautiful coat. Jorge has been most enjoyable in all ways!"

Jorge the Cowboy has tested positive for feline leukemia, which means he should be an only cat or he can live with another cat who is also FeLV+. Our Care for Life program will help cover some of his medical care related to the feline leukemia.

Jorge the Cowboy has tested positive for FIV, but that will not affect his lifespan. Our adoption team is happy to answer any questions you may have about FIV!

Jorge the Cowboy is neutered, micro-chipped, and up to date on vaccines.
