Meet Thor: The God of Thunder (and Blanket Biscuits)!
True to his name, this little marvel has a big personality and isn't afraid to use his voice! As the most vocal of his litter and the ultimate ringleader for kitten shenanigans, Thor always lets it be known exactly what he's thinking. He's also a budding athlete who loves chasing his favorite Cat Dancer toy and will definitely be climbing to the top of the highest cat trees in no time.

At dinner time, he turns on the ultimate charm: he'll try to "bear hug" climb your legs just to see what you're making him! Don't worry, because he's a perfect gentleman and never uses his claws on skin.

Despite his bold persona, Thor is incredibly gentle, sweet, and affectionate. When it's bedtime, his soft side completely takes over. Making intense biscuits and nursing on his favorite blanket is an absolute, non-negotiable part of his sleep routine.

The Details: Thor is a striking marble grey tabby who we expect will grow into a gorgeous medium-to-long-haired adult.

Thor was found in a litter of 4 kittens at roughly 3 weeks old. The litter was lovingly bottle fed and litter trained then spayed and neutered. While we don't know exactly, this kitten's birthdate is estimated to be around 3/23/2026.


This little kitten is a bundle of playful energy and needs a partner-in-crime! To make sure they stay happy and thoroughly entertained, OARS only adopts kittens out in pairs, or into homes that already have a resident kitten or young cat to play with.

All OARS cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, up to date on rabies and distemper, and have had dewormer medication as a preventive measure. All have tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia. Some kitties may even have a microchip.

We focus on providing personalized care for these cats in a loving, home-like environment. Cats live in cozy rooms (cage-free!) where they can play with their favorite toys, watch bird feeder activity, and nap in a favorite sunny spot.
To save as many lives as possible, we partner directly with other rescues and shelters to focus our efforts on overcrowded facilities and kitties who require extra TLC to prepare them for adoption. Because of this, we cannot accept cats directly from the public. Everything we do is fueled by your generosity! As a 100% donation-supported rescue, every dollar goes straight toward food, supplies, and veterinary care for the animals in our hands.
