Luma is a sensitive little girl who has been making steady progress in foster care. While she's still learning to trust people, she's becoming more comfortable every day and is happiest when she's allowed to explore the world at her own pace. Every small step she takes is a big milestone, and it's been a joy watching her confidence slowly grow.
She has a calm personality with playful moments, especially when she's spending time with other kittens. Once she feels safe, she'll happily join in the fun before settling back down to quietly observe everything happening around her.
Luma is cautious with new people and will usually watch from a cozy hiding spot until she decides it's safe to come out. One of her most endearing habits is peeking around corners to see what's going on before bravely venturing out for another look. She does very well with other cats and seems to gain confidence from having feline friends nearby, so a home with another friendly cat or kitten would likely help her continue to blossom.
Quiet surroundings, gentle people, and a predictable routine help Luma feel secure. Loud noises, sudden movements, and unfamiliar environments can be overwhelming, so she'll thrive with a family that understands she may need a little extra time to adjust.
Luma has excellent litter box habits and wonderful indoor manners, making her an easy companion. She may not be the first kitten to climb into your lap, but with patience, kindness, and love, she'll reward you with the special privilege of earning her trust.
If you're looking for a kitten whose confidence will bloom with your encouragement, Luma is ready to begin the next chapter of her journey with a family who will love her just as she is.

Want to adopt a kitten? We highly recommend you consider bringing home two instead of one! Adopting kittens in pairs has been proven to be beneficial for cats' emotional and behavioral well-being and greatly improves the likelihood of long-term adopter happiness as a result. Adopting more than one kitten also reduces the risk of "Single Kitten Syndrome" (also known as Tarzan Syndrome), a symptom of under-socialization during a kitten's most formative weeks. Kittens who are under-socialized may develop aggressive tendencies toward both other animals and humans as they grow, creating lifelong behavioral issues for owners.
