Trixie is an older lady and although her playing and zoomies days are behind her, she has plenty more love and quiet companionship to give. She loves being next to her humans and will gently pat your arm to remind you it's time for some pets. She loves her lap time and curling up next to you at night.

Trixie loves all people but is more discerning with food and doesn't care for any wet cat food or even any wet cat treats! She isn't a spring chicken though and her kidneys aren't what they used to be. Consequently, access to fresh water is a must for this sweet lady. Warning: she might hop on the counter when you wash your hands to for a refreshing sip of fresh faucet water

Words of wisdom: don't remind a lady of her age and a pee pad at the front of the litter box occasionally comes in handy. She has a low entry litter box to make it easier to get in and out but sometimes that means not all urine makes it in. It's no big deal though cause foster mom has long had pee pads at the liter box entrances for easy clean up and litter collection.

She was skin and bones when saved from the rough Flower Mound streets. Slowly but surely, she's gaining muscle mass and her fur is softer and healthier. Now, she is more steady walking and has no problem conquering the stairs or hopping up on to the couch or bed to sit next to you.

Trixie occasionally reminds her young male cat roomies with a firm meow, to respect their elders (when they sniff her rear haunches for too long). She will often lay next to one of the boys who also likes to loaf on their humans' bed. This darling feline companion is comfortable with cats and kids but would love a quiet home to relax in and enjoy her twilight years.
