Meet Star and Stripe, an adorable pair of littermates whose names couldn't be more perfect! They were found on the 4th of July, and as if that weren't fitting enough, Star has a little white star on her chest, while Stripe is a handsome striped tabby.

These two have been raised with lots of love in a foster home and are wonderfully affectionate, energetic, playful, and cuddly. And they are absolutely precious together-you'll often find them curled up spooning each other when playtime is over.

Star, the little girl of the pair, was born with an injury to one of her rear legs. She is scheduled to have that leg amputated in October before she is ready for adoption. The good news is that tripod cats typically adapt remarkably well and can go on to live happy, active lives. Star certainly doesn't let her leg keep her from enjoying life!

Star and Stripe would make a wonderful pair to adopt together, but they can also be adopted individually. If separated, their ideal homes would have another friendly cat companion so each will still have a kitty buddy for playing, snuggling, and companionship.

Whether they find their forever home together or separately, these sweet siblings are ready to bring a whole lot of love, cuddles, playfulness, and personality to their families. .
