Jean Luc - Domestic Medium Hair Cat for Adoption in Jefferson, Louisiana

Jean Luc is a cute little nugget who was found all alone by a community cat feeder we had helped in the past. He was tiny and just about old enough to eat on his own, but we happened to have something even better waiting for him: a nursing mom.

Her kittens, Bluey and Bingo, were already getting old enough that they didn't really need to nurse anymore. They were also fluffy little babies just like Jean Luc, so we joked that maybe we could just slip him in there and nobody would notice he wasn't actually part of the family.

Apparently our plan worked.

Mum, Bluey and Bingo accepted Jean Luc like he'd been their brother all along, and he got to finish growing up with a mom and two sisters instead of by himself.

Jean Luc has since grown into what our staff lovingly describes as a fearless wild man. He loves to play, run, explore and tear around our isolation area like he personally owns the place. He's confident, curious and always ready for his next adventure.

Jean Luc and his adopted family are all ready for homes, but they're currently hanging out in our isolation area because our adoption floor is completely full. If you'd like to meet Jean Luc, just ask a staff member and we'll be happy to introduce you.

We do ask that you avoid requesting an isolation-area meet and greet within an hour of opening or closing. Things get a little hectic around here, especially during what we're pretty sure has been the longest and worst kitten season on the planet.

If you'd like to meet me, stop by Jefferson Feed (corner of Jefferson Hwy. and Central Ave.). We kindly ask that visits be made earlier in the day, as the last hour before closing is reserved for medications and end-of-day care.

Adoption Fee is $300/each or $550/pair. We like our kittens to have friends so we want a pair adoption if you have no other pets unless we know a specific kitten prefers to be alone. All kittens are Spayed/Neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccines, FeLV/FIV/HW tested and microchipped.
