Meet Mongoose!

Mongoose is a handsome 1-year-old boy with lots of playful young-cat energy and a very sweet, cuddly side!

He loves toys—all kinds of toys! He also enjoys watching birds from the window, basking in the sunshine, climbing into a lap, and sleeping in bed with his person. He likes being picked up, enjoys being brushed, and has even been known to appreciate a belly rub.

Mongoose previously lived with an older cat. It sounds like his attempts to play sometimes became too much for his senior housemate, and the two were not the best match. In another home, Mongoose was mostly indifferent to the resident cats, coexisted with them, and even cuddled with one. He may be able to live with the right cat—especially one who appreciates his playful energy and can be properly introduced.

Mongoose has also lived with children and was described as friendly with both kids and adults.
