GIMLI - Domestic Medium Hair Cat for Adoption

Hi there! My name is GIMLI!

I was found under a house along the shores of the Mississippi in Lake City. My mom was nowhere to be found. I was maybe 3 weeks old!

Wondering where my name came from? From Lord of the Rings. Gimli was a Duarf Worrier, I am that! My Hiawatha Animal Humane Society foster mom relies on her daughter for names.

Currently my foster mom feeds me milk replacer every three to four hours. And, yes, all night long, too. She does in fact have a newborn again!

I already use a litter box, which my foster mom is amazed at. I have also started to eat kitten kibble and groom myself!

After my feedings and cuddles, I wander back to my heated carrier for a nap.

My foster mom has just started to introduce me to her other foster kitties. She rescues me when the other youngsters get too rough.

I am available for adoption, but unless you want to be woken up frequently during the night, you may want to leave me with my foster mom for awhile.

My coat hasn't decided if it's going to be medium length or long. It is showing signs of me being a Tortie.

My adoption fee includes my spay, vaccines, microchip and being healthy all the way around.

If you have questions, call or text my foster mom, Julie at 507-259-5958.

PLEASE NOTE: The Hiawatha Animal Humane Society adoption contract does not allow the declawing of cats or kittens adopted from their organization.
