GRETEL - American Shorthair Cat for Adoption

Hi there! My name is GRETEL!

My owner was a long time Hiawatha Animal Humane Society volunteer, and until recently, I had a lovely home with her. She was recently taken away from me.

I'm about 14 years old with a beautiful calico coat. I love to come and cuddle on a lap whenever one is available. I also like to sit in front of a sunny window and see what's happening outside. I am very quite, preferring to keep to myself rather than hanging out with all the other kids, ie young fosters.

HAHS has a Senior for Seniors program that offers a reduced adoption fee to Senior pet parents that are looking for a furry companion. You can ask my foster mom about that.

I am spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, treated for worms, lice and ticks. I am healthy and ready to become a member of your home!

Please call or text my foster mom, Julie at 507-259-5958.

PLEASE NOTE: The Hiawatha Animal Humane Society adoption contract does not allow the declawing of cats or kittens adopted from their organization.
