Hi, I'm Edith Finch! I'm a beautiful medium haired tuxedo female, born approximately 8/01/2023, and I'm ready to find a loving home of my very own. Before focusing on myself, I had an important job to do, I was a fantastic mama to my four kittens! I was incredibly loving and attentive with my babies and always made sure they were safe and cared for. I could even get a little anxious when I heard them cry because I took my mama duties very seriously.
Now that my kittens are growing up, it's my turn to be spoiled! I'm an incredibly sweet girl who loves attention, head rubs, pets, and plenty of affection. I have a wonderful purr and will happily make sure you know when I'm ready for some love. Churu treats are another very good way to win my heart! I don't especially love being picked up, but that doesn't mean I don't want to be close to you. I just need a little time to feel completely safe and comfortable. Once I settled into my foster home, I even started sleeping with my foster family, so patience goes a long way with me. I also love to play, especially with wand toys! Sometimes I can get a little too enthusiastic during playtime and may lunge, bite, or scratch because I'm still learning where my limits are. I'm not trying to be mean; I just get very excited!
Because of my energetic play style, I would do best in a home without small children and with people who can read my body language and help redirect my energy appropriately. Dogs are definitely not my thing. I was previously attacked by an unknown animal, so there may be some trauma behind my strong feelings about them. I would be happiest in a dog-free home. I may do well with another kitty friend, though, only as long as Wild Blue's introduction procedures are followed and everyone is given plenty of time to adjust.
I'm a sweet, affectionate, playful girl who just needs a family willing to give me a little patience, lots of love, plenty of wand-toy adventures, and maybe a Churu or two.
