Hi! My name is Rodel. I'm a handsome short haired black male born approximately 5/07/2026. My siblings and I came to Wild Blue Cats as surrendered strays. After spending several weeks in foster care, I was still shy and needed some additional help building my confidence, but I've made wonderful progress! Although I may remain cautious when meeting someone new, my curiosity and playful spirit usually encourage me to come out and join the fun. Playing is definitely the way to my heart! I love wand toys, feathers, the laser light, little balls, and anything else I can chase. I sometimes prefer an exciting game rather than sitting in a lap, and once I get started, I have plenty of energy to share. I may watch everything from a safe spot at first, but it usually isn't long before my playful side takes over! I'm also a sweet and social boy who enjoys gentle pets, chin scratches, and tasty Churu treats. As I've grown more comfortable, I've climbed into laps, purred happily, and sought attention from people I trust. I'm not especially fond of being picked up yet, so I'll appreciate a family who lets me choose how and when we interact.
I'm looking for a patient, playful family who will give me time to adjust and continue helping my confidence grow. I think I'd do well in a family with respectful teenagers, another feline friend, or even a doggie buddy, as long as you follow Wild Blue's introduction procedures.
