Cookie - Domestic Medium Hair Cat for Adoption in Charlottesville, Virginia

Meet Cookie! Cookie and his brother Oreo were brought into foster care from a feral colony. Their foster hoped to be able to socialize them so they could be adopted, and she's had great success! We would like for Cookie and Oreo to be adopted together.

While Cookie will continue to benefit from socialization, he is settling in to house-cat life! During the day, he likes to hang out on the cat tree, enjoying the sun, or play with toys.

Cookie will lay down if you start petting the back of his ear or side of his face under his ear. His foster calls it his "melt button"! His foster says that Cookie will come over and flop on top of her or next to her and wants as much TLC as she can give. He has started coming to her when she calls him.

Cookie enjoys playing with the Smart Kitty interactive toy. He loves chasing the feathers attached to the rotating arm.

Their foster says: "Cookie is definitely the social butterfly of the two. Oreo in general is a more laid-back kitten. I think he'll end up being a very laid-back adult cat. Cookie will be the mischievous one exploring every nook and cranny. Oreo almost seems like an old soul in a young kitten's body."

Cookie has had some exposure to the resident cats and a small resident dog in his foster home, and was curious with both.
