If you are looking for a gentle, affectionate companion, O’Malley is your boy! This adorable floof tends to be a bit timid and reserved at first. However, he can be easily enticed to lick Catit treats off your finger. He also loves to be wrapped in a blanket and snuggled! O’Malley does best with other cats who are friendly and mellow. He does not like to left alone and clearly appreciates the companionship of other cats. (He has especially enjoyed meeting his foster family’s cats, and will start purring and softly meowing as soon as he sees one of them now.) He will need time and patience as he learns to trust people, so starting him out in a smaller space with fewer spots to hide will work best until he gets more comfortable in his surroundings. Because he is easily overwhelmed by loud noises and too much activity, O’Malley will be happiest in a quieter home with adults and older children who can help build his confidence.Get $50 off a pair of kittens. Meet O'Ferguson and O'Malley at our weekly adoption event on Saturday, 12-4pm, PetSmart, Bleachery Blvd. All cats are spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, FELV/FIV tested, dewormed and started on monthly flea preventative.
All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Contact the foster parent or Mountain Pet Rescue at pets@mpravl.org for more information.
Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label.
Mountain Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit tax deductible charity (EIN 82-3039637) located in Asheville, NC.
