DESCRIPTION
Cola – Sweet, Curious, and Full of Charm
Meet lovely Lola, a stunning, 1-2 years old tortie girl with amazing markings, expressive eyes and fluffy tail. In fact, her coat is more fluffy than sleek, and we think that adds to her charm. She really is quite beautiful, don't you think?
Lola is super affectionate, even in a shelter environment, which can be stressful for cats. She was handling the shelter life like a champ; she really enjoys pets from visitors to the adoption center and will rub your legs for more if she feels even a little bit neglected!
We have observed her as very good with other cats, tolerant and likes to play with the others....depending on how 'pushy' the other cats are. She plays a little more 'gently' and seems to be happier around female cats.
She would be fine as a solo cat as well. Lola did a great job as a mommy to her kitten Sassparilla (FCID# 05/13/2026 - 20, adoption scheduled), and it is her turn to shine in a loving forever home. She is low key and seems to be fine with children. She would make a great companion.
Please come visit her at the Brookhaven Pet Smart!!
Please submit our no-obligation Adoption Application for a meet and greet or to adopt: https://forgottencats.org/adoption-application/. Not ready to adopt? Please consider fostering: https://forgottencats.org/foster-a-cat/. Thank you! (Foster: Trainer)
ABOUT: DOMESTIC MEDIUM HAIR CAT BREED
The Domestic Medium Hair cat is a versatile and beloved breed known for its medium length coat that comes in a wide range of colors and patterns. These affectionate and playful cats are often found in shelters, as they are not a recognized breed but rather a classification for cats of mixed ancestry. Despite their mixed heritage, Domestic Medium Hairs possess unique personalities and make wonderful companions for families and individuals looking for a loving feline companion.
The Tortoiseshell cat is known for its unique coat pattern that blends various hues of red, black, and orange in a striking mosaic. These cats are predominantly female due to the genetics behind their coat coloration. Tortoiseshells are often affectionate and independent, with individual personalities that shine through. Their coats are a beautiful patchwork of colors, making them highly sought-after pets for cat lovers seeking a companion with a vibrant and dynamic appearance.
