Gerald - Domestic Long Hair Cat for Adoption in Shelby, Michigan

Meet Gerald!

Approximately 8–9 years old
13 lbs

Sweet Gerald is ready for the soft, quiet life.

Gerald previously lived in a home with many other cats, where there simply wasn’t always enough individual attention to go around. Now this incredibly sweet boy is hoping to find a home where he can finally soak up all the love he deserves.

Gerald isn’t asking for much. Give him a comfy couch, a peaceful home, and someone to curl up beside, and we think he’ll be one very happy kitty. He would especially thrive in a quieter household where he can relax and enjoy his golden years being thoroughly spoiled.

And about Gerald’s current hairstyle...

When he arrived, Gerald had quite a few mats, so much of his back end and tail needed to be shaved. This photo was taken before his haircut, so he looks a little different right now. He may look a little silly for a while, but we certainly aren’t going to tell him that! His beautiful long fur will grow back.

Because Gerald is a long-haired kitty, his new family will need to brush him regularly to help keep that handsome coat comfortable and mat-free.

Gerald has spent enough time sharing the spotlight. Now he’s ready for a couch, a person to love, and a home where he can finally be someone’s very special boy.
