Simba - Domestic Long Hair Cat for Adoption in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Simba is a sweet and gentle Persian boy with quite a story. He was rescued from Saudi Arabia, spent three years living in New York, and eventually found his way to PAWS. Through all of those changes, Simba has remained the same wonderfully calm, affectionate, and trusting little boy.

Simba recently went through another big chapter in his life, he had to have one of his hind legs amputated. But being a tripod hasn't stopped him. He has recovered beautifully, is doing great, and has adapted to life on three legs like the little champ he is. He gets around well and is still very much capable of finding all the best lounging spots in the house.

And lounging is definitely one of Simba's specialties. He is laid-back, easygoing, and, admittedly, a little lazy. His perfect day involves finding somewhere comfortable to nap while keeping his favorite person nearby. He doesn't need to be the center of attention, he is simply happiest being in the same room with you, quietly keeping you company.

One thing you can always count on is Simba waiting to greet you when you come home. There is something incredibly special about opening the door and seeing this fluffy little face there to welcome you.

Simba is a professional lounger. Brings out anything resembling a string and suddenly his inner hunter makes an appearance. He also has a serious weakness for chin scratches and treats. His gentle and trusting personality makes him the kind of cat who will happily let his person fuss over him and remind him just how loved he is.

After everything Simba has been through, he deserves a forever home where his next chapter can be his best one: a cozy place, plenty of spots, lots of treats and chin scratches, and someone who will cherish this very special three-legged boy exactly as he is.

Simba isn't looking for much, just a person to love, a comfortable place to lounge, and a home he never has to leave again.
