DESCRIPTION

There is something truly special about the soul of an older cat, and Baby is the perfect example! At 9 years young, this beautiful dark tortoiseshell is looking for a compassionate adopter who understands that the best things in life are often worth a little wait. Baby is a gentle, affectionate lady who just wants a quiet corner and a kind hand to lead her into her golden years. If you notice her sporting a "lion cut" in her photos, it's because she recently arrived needing a fresh start with her coat. We gave her a professional shave to help her feel more comfortable and light on her feet; her long, dark fur will grow back in time, but for now, she is feeling much better rocking her new look! Baby also came to us already front-declawed, which makes her a bit more vulnerable and is part of the reason she treasures her comfort and safety so deeply. Adopting an older cat like Baby comes with so many wonderful perks. She is long past the "zoomies" and curtain-climbing stage, preferring a cozy nap and soft conversation over kitten chaos. With a mature cat, what you see is what you get--her sweet, mellow personality is fully formed. Baby is a sensitive soul who needs a patient, soft-hearted adopter. New environments can be a bit much for her at first, so she'll need someone willing to give her the space to blossom at her own speed. Once she feels safe, her lovely nature truly shines, making her absolutely worth the wait. To help her stay relaxed, Baby is looking for a home where she can be your one and only pet, either with adults or older children (12+) who can respect her quiet vibe. You can make an appointment online to come in and meet this sweet lady! Baby's adoption fee is $200.
