While walking home, one of our volunteers noticed this little butterfly following them home. She was healthy, not a whisker out of place, and affectionate from the very first moment.
Her time had come to be brought inside and cared for, with the hope that she would easily flutter her wings into someone's heart. Sadly, the outside world can sometimes be cruel to butterflies.
During her second visit to the vet, Madame Butterfly tested FeLV positive. We know those words can sound scary, but Madame Butterfly is currently in great health, and we believe she can live a long, happy, and comfortable life with the right care.
A solo home or with another FELV positive cat with some adjusting, would be recommended for her. She is quick, athletic, and wants nothing in return but to be an absolute cuddle bug with you.
Madame Butterfly needs round the clock love, needs you to wear warm sweaters she can make biscuits on, and a home full of love!
Come meet Madame Butterfly, she'll never fly away.
