Tommy - Domestic Long Hair Cat for Adoption in Irvine, California

Tommy is a very sweet, loving and gentle boy who craves love and attention, he will be your loving companion and follow you around the house. He is very affectionate and loves being petted, brushed and cuddled. He especially loves being petted around his cheeks and chin and being held while looking out of the window together. He is nervous of noises from outside the house, and tends to be anxious, but is gaining confidence in his foster home.
Tommy needs a quiet home with minimal change of routine. He needs someone to be home during the day who can interact with him regularly. Preferably people who dont travel frequently and when they do, they have someone who could stay in the home to care for him.
NOTE: Tommy requires a daily medication for kitty anxiety that he takes very easily

When you choose to adopt one of OCARC's animals, the adoption donation is $200 (kittens 6 months and younger) or $175 (all kittens and cats over 6 months of age). Each of our cats and kittens has been:

- Spayed or neutered
- Microchipped
- Tested for FeLV (Feline Leukemia)
- Tested for FIV (Feline Aids)
- De-flead (topical Revolution or Advantage)
- De-wormed (tape and round worms)
- Given their first FVRCP vaccination:

We keep all our kitties current on their FVRCP vaccines so depending on the age of the kitty when you adopt him or her and how long we've had the kitty, the vaccine series may be complete. If not, you as the adopter will be responsible for any further vaccinations in the series.

- Rabies Vaccination when age appropriate

These services would usually cost more than $500. Of course, a greater adoption donation is always welcome, since we often provide additional medical care such as x-rays, blood panels, treatment for ears, eyes, upper respiratory infections and viruses.
