Looking for a handsome hilarious roommate? Meet Rhino!

This handsome boy is a one-of-a-kind stud muffin that made his way to TCR to find a forever family! Rhino, like a lot of cats, prefers a little time to settle in before showing off his full personality. He has been very curious, exploring and sniffing everything in his foster room. Give him a couple days, a quiet corner, and some Churu, and you'll start to see his softer, sillier side come out.

Rhino enjoys pets and affection from his humans, but only on his schedule! He can get a little overstimulated, so it's best to let him come to you and decide when he wants attention. When he is in the mood for pets, he will hop right in your lap and rub his chin all over you. While he's not always in the mood for pets, he will certainly never pass up a Churu! He's a fiend for any treat and, he's easy to handle and pick up (although he does not enjoy being held for a long period of time).

Rhino is also a super playful guy! He loves batting around little balls and mice (or food wrappers, the TV remote, a tube of Chapstick... he's not picky) and also loves to chase feather or string wand toys! He also loves climbing and finding a high perch on top of a chair or a cat tree.

Because Rhino can get overstimulated and will need some space, he would likely not do well in a home with young children but he could do ok with older, calm kiddos. He's lived with other cats and done well, or could be ok as the only pet in the home. Rhino has met small dogs in foster and done ok with them but any high energy dog with unpredictable antics might be a bit too much for him.

Rhino is estimated to be almost 2 years old. He is neutered, flea treated, dewormed, vaccinated, microchipped and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV. If you're looking for a unique and playful friend to add to your home, consider adopting Rhino!
