Kiwi is the kind of kitten who likes to sit back, watch the world around her, and take it all in before deciding its time to join the fun.

She may not be the first kitten to jump into the middle of the action, but just give her a little time. Once Kiwi has carefully observed everything and decided the coast is clear, you will quietly catch her playing her little heart out! And if there is a feather involved? Forget about it! Kiwi has never met a feather wand she did not like. Her calm exterior quickly disappears when her favorite toy comes out.

Kiwi is wonderfully sweet and affectionate without needing to be the center of attention. She loves a good warm lap to curl up in and absolutely melts for scratches along both of her cheeks. Those quiet one-on-one moments are where this gentle girl really shines. She is:

The cat adoption fee is $120 (or $190 for two cats). Second Chance Pets is a foster-based organization so all animals live in foster homes throughout the area. All cats are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV and feline leukemia, fully vaccinated, dewormed, defleaed and microchipped. Adoptions are held on Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Clear Lake Petco (2410 Bay Area Blvd, Houston 77058).
