Meet Blossom !
Blossom is one of 14 kittens who were heartbreakingly abandoned on our doorstep. She was one of the four older kittens in the group, and while she may have a more grown-up look these days, she is still very much a kitten at heart-and she isn't even a year old yet!
When Blossom first arrived, she and her siblings were incredibly frightened of people. She spent much of her time in foster care, where she could learn that humans could be trusted and that life could be pretty wonderful. With patience, time, and plenty of love, Blossom completely blossomed into the sweetest little cuddle bug!
Once she gets comfortable with you, Blossom absolutely loves affection. She would happily curl up in her foster mom's lap while she was reading or working, perfectly content just to be close to her person. She doesn't need anything fancy-just a cozy lap, some attention, and someone who will appreciate what a special girl she has become.
Blossom would do best in a home with another friendly cat and may even be a wonderful candidate to go home with one of her siblings. Having a feline friend would give her some companionship and help her continue building confidence.
Now, about dogs... absolutely not! Blossom made her feelings about her foster mom's dogs very clear. In her world, those dogs were her absolute worst enemy, so she is looking for a dog-free home where she can relax and feel safe.
Blossom has come such a long way from the terrified kitten who first arrived at FMAR. She is ready to find someone who will give her the time and patience she needs-and in return, she will give you all the cuddles she has been saving up.
FMAR felines are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated for age-appropriate shots, and negative for FIV/FeLV.
