At around nine months old and a petite seven pounds, Iris is an exotic dilute calico beauty with a gentle spirit and impeccable manners. Her story began in a local high-risk shelter, where she was saved just in the nick of time with her five newborn kittens. Despite being just a kitten herself, Iris proved to be an incredibly devoted and nurturing mama, raising her babies with patience, bravery, and endless affection.

Now that her kittens are ready to find homes of their own, it’s finally Iris’s turn to be the center of someone’s world and she’s more than ready for it. This sweet, easygoing girl dreams of a life where she can be spoiled, pampered, and cherished the way she deserves.

Iris is as well-mannered as she is loving. She has perfect litter box habits, gets along beautifully with adults and children, and enjoys the company of other cats. She would also do just fine in a home with a cat-friendly dog. Her calm, friendly nature makes her a wonderful fit for many types of families.

Before joining her forever home, Iris will be fully vetted; spayed, microchipped, combo tested negative, and up to date on all vaccinations and preventatives.
