Cookie and Macaroon - Dumped at the Shelter TWICE!
In 2025, E Rescue Houston Rescued Cookie along with her litter of Kittens from the Shelter on 242. It was a last minute pleas for help for a family that would not have made it out of the shelter otherwise.
3 months later Cookie and her Boy, Macaroon, were adopted to a family who promised to love and cherish them forever but sadly they did not follow through.
On 4/11, E Rescue Houston received a call from the Houston SPCA that they had been turned in as owner surrender and we KNOW what happens to owner surrender when turned into a shelter. But thankfully the microchips help them get back to E Rescue who quickly sent a volunteer to save them.
The are both very sweet cats. A little confused about what has happened to them. Wondering why they have been abandoned for a 2nd time in their short lives.
We will not separate them. They are all each other knows. They need to stay together. Please help us make their dream come true. A REAL forever home this time.
Current on shots. Already spayed/neutered, microchipped.
Adoption fee for the pair is 140.00

ABOUT: CALICO CAT BREED
The Calico cat is known for its unique tri color coat pattern of white, orange, and black. These cats are almost always female due to their genetics, with their striking coats often displaying a patchwork appearance. Calicos are not a specific breed but rather a color pattern found in various breeds, including American Shorthair and Persian. They are typically lively, affectionate, and confident felines, making them popular and charming companions in many households.
