SallyRide, born exactly on 2/6/26, is a beautifully-marked dilute calico girl. Her mom is a stunning tortie point Siamese providing pest control at a flight school (hence SallyRide's name) in Bakersfield. Luckily, a student there noticed the day the mom-to-be went from 'fat' to 'skinny' and tracked her to an open window into an empty dorm room where she had had her 7, yes, SEVEN kittens.

SallyRide is a great name for her because she likes to 'fly' up and down the hall - very active and playful which IS typical of a healthy, young kitten. She wants to be near you to the point she will jump in your lap and settle down for a nap. She is an expert purr machine and always up for more pets and attention. Her demeanor is charmingly affectionate and outgoing.

Adoption events are held at the Fair Oaks Petco (Madison at Hazel) on Saturdays from noon to 4pm.
