Meet bonded brothers Yogi Bear and Leo. They were born 8/8/25 and have been adopted and returned TWICE! Yikes! I don’t know how to even try to make that look positive, but if you are crazy about cats, these are the best! They are very intense loving kittens. They get into things and can be destructive (like shredding mail, tipping things over, and I understand they also did a number on a shoe rack). Here, in my kitten proof foster home, they do great.

The good stuff: OMG they are very affectionate. They put their paw on you to indicate they would like to be picked up. From there, you will get neck hugs, some kisses, and sometimes they try to eat your hair. Ha ha. The boys love to be held while you walk around and they seem to need it. They could not make a human feel more loved. In my 12 years of fostering I have never had a pair like them. They also like to be involved. If you open a drawer they may jump in. The same with the dryer, dishwasher, and any open cabinet door. I’m not sure that is “good,” but they enjoy it immensely; they are very interactive.

This is a tall order, but their ideal home would be with at least one adult home most of the time that has the time and desire to give them their much needed affection. I find when they get that daily, they are much better behaved. If you are a night owl, that is definitely a plus. The boys are active in the later evening. They also need a good amount of space that is kitten/cat proofed. Younger children are not recommended. They do get along with other cats and dogs.

I don’t want to give the impression they are a terror 24/7; they are not at all. If they have their cuddles, their toys, and kitty proof space, they are amazing! I don’t find them to be overly active for their age. To meet them, the only thing you would notice is how affectionate they are. They haven’t had a problem finding a home, only keeping one.

Adoption events are held at the Fair Oaks Petco (Madison at Hazel) on Saturdays from noon to 4pm.
