Meet Babycakes

Babycakes is a beautiful female calico kitten with a sweet, gentle personality and so much love to give. She is friendly, affectionate, playful, and loves spending time with both people and her littermates,

Sweetiepie, Honeybun, and Sugarplum

.

Babycakes and her siblings were rescued from a car yard and brought to safety. Since then, they have been staying with a wonderful foster who has loved and cared for them tremendously, helping them grow into happy, trusting, affectionate kittens.

Babycakes has also been dealing with a

severe corneal stromal ulcer in her right eye

. She is currently receiving veterinary care and is healing very well, but we are still working with her medical team to determine what her long-term prognosis will be. Her right eye may not grow to full size, which could potentially lead to additional issues or the need for continued veterinary care as she gets older.

Despite everything she has been through, Babycakes continues to be a happy, loving little girl who enjoys playing, cuddling, and spending time with her siblings. She does not let her eye slow her down or keep her from enjoying kitten life.

Babycakes is looking for a special forever family who will love her just as she is and who understands that she may need ongoing veterinary follow-up for her eye in the future.

Preference will be given to a home that can adopt Babycakes with one of her siblings

, as she loves having another kitten to play, cuddle, and grow up with. However, because of her medical condition,

we are also open to placing Babycakes as a single adoption with the right family

, especially in a home that already has another friendly cat or kitten who can be her companion and playmate.

Our biggest priority is finding Babycakes the loving, understanding home she deserves — whether that is alongside one of her siblings or with a wonderful new feline friend already waiting for her.

Prior to adoption, all kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped. Kittens under 5 months old must be adopted with a buddy or into a house where there's a kitten-friendly pet.
