Caterpillar - Calico Cat for Adoption in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

MEET CATERPILLAR!

At just 10 months old, this beautiful little girl had already found herself living outside. And one thing was immediately clear: Caterpillar was never meant to live her life on the streets.

A kind Good Samaritan brought her to our vet’s office to be scanned for a microchip, hoping perhaps someone was missing her. Sadly, there was no chip and no family to be found.

So, of course, we said YES.

We immediately picked Caterpillar up, brought her into the safety of a foster home, had her fully vetted, and gave her a few weeks to settle in and show us who she really is.

And oh my goodness... she is an absolute LOVE.

Caterpillar is incredibly gentle, ridiculously sweet, and simply cannot get enough human attention. She loves being near her people, soaking up affection, and sitting by the window watching the birds go about their day.

Even better, this little social butterfly is very cat-friendly AND dog-friendly! She would be a wonderful addition to so many different kinds of families.

Caterpillar is,
Approximately 10 months old
Spayed
Vaccinated
Microchipped
Combo tested negative for FIV/FeLV
Cat-friendly
Dog-friendly
Certified professional sweetheart

She may have started her young life outside, but that is most definitely not where Caterpillar’s story is going to end.

Now all she needs is the part we can’t give her ourselves, a family to call her own.

Could you be the family this beautiful little girl has been waiting for?

The Calico cat is known for its unique tri color coat pattern of white, orange, and black. These cats are almost always female due to their genetics, with their striking coats often displaying a patchwork appearance. Calicos are not a specific breed but rather a color pattern found in various breeds, including American Shorthair and Persian. They are typically lively, affectionate, and confident felines, making them popular and charming companions in many households.
