Meet Calico Penny Lane!

Penny Lane is a 7-month-old adorable calico with a very sweet personality and a serious purr motor! She’s curious, very affectionate, and still very much behaves like a kitten.

When she’s happy—or realizes she’s about to get some attention—she does the cutest thing by rolling on her back, ready for pets like a puppy wanting belly rubs. She doesn’t mind being around other friendly cats and kittens, and is curious to learn about them and what they’re up to, so she may do well with a friendly feline companion. We think she would also do well with a friendly, gentle dog, too.

And because she’s still a kitten, Penny has plenty of playful energy. If you get her especially excited with too much petting or tickling, she may respond with a few gentle play bites or bunny kicks. It’s playful kitten behavior, not aggression, but she’ll do best with people or a family with older children who understand that kittens are still learning appropriate ways to play.

Penny Lane is a wonderful combination of affectionate, curious, playful, and just a little bit silly—and she’s ready for a forever home where she can continue growing into her personality.

Best Fit: A loving, calm home where Penny Lane can be with people who give her love and appreciate a young, sweet-natured affectionate cat. Other friendly kittens would be welcome companions! Friendly dogs are okay, too!

Penny has been fully vetted and has perfect litterbox manners. She’s hoping to find a forever home with someone who will love her as much as she loves in return.

Could that someone be you? Penny is hoping it is!

The Calico cat is known for its unique tri color coat pattern of white, orange, and black. These cats are almost always female due to their genetics, with their striking coats often displaying a patchwork appearance. Calicos are not a specific breed but rather a color pattern found in various breeds, including American Shorthair and Persian. They are typically lively, affectionate, and confident felines, making them popular and charming companions in many households.
