Lucy - Calico Cat for Adoption in Gaithersburg, Maryland

Lucy is a Beautiful 1 year old Calico DSH who is being surrenderedbecause her ownerlost his residence and wanted a betterlife for Lucy than he could give her. She is being surrendered along with her roommate named Luka who is 7 months old. Lucy is described as a very athletickitty who can jump extremely high when playing. She is a very curiouscat who loves to explore. As for playing, unlike her roommateLuka, the laser pointer holds no interest, however, now a Mouse on a string is another matter. You swing it and she jumps forit and normally catches it in mid air. It came with her today! Growing up in a Spanish household she is quiteadapted to the language and the music. And speaking of music, any music, it seems to have a very positive effect on her. She has lived with children, other cats and a dog, all respected each other's space and there was no aggression. Lucy is not a fan ofbeing picked up and held, however, I had no problem at all in picking her up from her carrier, petting her and then placingher in theAWLMC Carrier.

She uses a litter box without issues and does like a scratching post.
