BRONX - BIG BOMBAY BOY - Bombay Cat for Adoption in Oakwood, Georgia

Meet BRONX

Our stunning “house panther,” BRONX, has quite the story to tell.

He’s about 2 1/2 years old. He came to us last year after we were contacted by another rescue group, that someone had moved out of an apartment and left their black cat in a box, set outside of the apartment. When they called us, the person that reported it said he had not moved from the box/blanket for two days. At midnight, we drove to meet up with the other rescue and BRONX came to us.

He was actually adopted last December, but the adopter passed away a few months ago (young adopter) and BRONX came back to us, as the family could no longer care for him.

So, in less than 2 years, he lost two families!

BRONX is still very loving and trusting. He has weathered all the recent changes and trials, and has only gotten sweeter and stronger! Now all he needs is a forever home where he will never have to lose a family again.

BRONX weighs about 10 lbs. now, and with a steady, healthy diet (and spoiled with treats), he could max out around 12 lbs. He has a gorgeous, silky, black coat, and stunning amber eyes! We will miss him a lot, but can't wait for him to have special humans to cuddle with. He should do great with kids, even young ones and, if introduced properly, become buddies with your cat-friendly dog.

Filling out an application does not guarantee adoption of a particular cat or kitten. We receive many applications for each listed cat, and we review them carefully to ensure a good fit. Of approvable applications, we give precedence to the earliest that we receive.

All of our cats and kittens are rescued, or surrendered to us by their previous owners, and now seek loving, permanent homes.

All of our cats are spayed/neutered, given age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV and FeLV, as well as given flea, heartworm, and ear mite prevention.

We do not DNA or allergy test our cats. We cannot guarantee the breed mix, as we are a rescue, not breeders.

Please note that we are a privately run rescue. We are not government funded and get very few donations. The care that we provide, the animals that we rescue, all costs are covered out of pocket, so our adoption fees are higher than what you may find at a funded or government shelter.

To request an application, email secondhandsiamese2@gmail.com.

DO NOT CALL OR TEXT FOR APPLICATIONS!

We DO NOT have "meet and greet" visitations. All adoption appointments are made after we have approved your application.
