Penny is just the very best, there is so much I could say about her! I wish I could just have all day to take her into my arms - she lays upside down like a baby - and carry her around the house all day!
She is an incredibly young mother, when brought to us with her two kittens, I thought she was one of the kittens; until they started nursing. She only had two babies as the litters tend to be smaller when the mom is basically a kitten herself. When playing with her babies Penny is the one that flies out to round up the toy before the kids have time to blink!
She is an incredibly sweet girl - her full story- she was outdoors and had given birth on a porch in Alameda. It's almost like she knew she wanted a better life for her kittens and herself and asked for help from a neighnbor! We assume she might have been abandoned due to her extremely human friendly demeanor. If you'd like a friend to come home to, a soul that cares, someone that will be near you, look no further. We are looking for a special someone to pick up our special girl!
Her extra super duper specialty? She is polydactyly! Those toys WILL be caught!
