DESCRIPTION

September

The little boy who cried for help until someone finally listened.

I don't know why I ended up in that yard.

One day, I was just there. I had an old, worn collar around my neck and a heart full of confusion. I cried and cried, hoping someone would come for me, hoping someone would recognize me, hoping someone would tell me where I belonged.

But no one came.

The days passed. The rain fell. The wind blew. I stayed right there, calling out for help as loudly as I could. Neighbors saw me day after day, a tiny kitten sitting alone outside, crying into the storm.

I was covered in fleas. Thousands of them. They drank so much of my blood that there was barely any left for me. I was exhausted, weak, itchy, and miserable. My little body was trying so hard to keep going, but I didn't understand why everything hurt so much.

Still, I waited.

And then something wonderful happened.

Someone finally stopped.

Someone finally saw that I wasn't just a kitten in a yard. I was a baby who needed saving.

They picked me up.

They carried me somewhere safe.

And for the first time in a long time, I didn't have to cry anymore.

Today, I'm healthy. I'm loved. And somehow, after everything, my heart is still completely open.

I adore people. I love being close. I love affection, gentle hands, warm laps, and being told I'm a good boy. There isn't a mean bone in my body. Even after being forgotten, abandoned, and left to struggle alone, I decided the world was still worth trusting.

Maybe that's what makes me so special.

I'm not just a survivor.

I'm a little kitten who chose love anyway.

Now I'm looking for the one thing I've been searching for since those lonely days in the yard: a family that won't leave me behind, a family that will hear my tiny voice and answer it forever.

Could that family be yours?
