We don't know how he ended up there, but when we first met Mason he was living inside a wall outside The Evergreens Cemetery. This is right on Bushwick Ave, a high-traffic area with no houses nearby. The poor guy had found a part of the wall missing a brick, so he literally holed up there for who-knows how long. We rounded him up and get him fixed and vetted and soon after, into foster.
He's really blossomed in his foster home! We weren't sure at first if he was feral or not but after just one week in foster we now know he's a goofy sweetheart! Unsure about human attention at first, he now demands it, loving head pats and even getting some lap time in. He's feeling good enough to allow for some amusing zoomies action, too. You can see in these now pics how his whole demeanor has perked up the more he lets his guard down. He's clearly grateful to be indoors and not inside a retaining wall.
