Burrata - American Shorthair Cat for Adoption in New York, New York

What’s white, soft, and definitely belongs on your table? That’s right, it’s BURRATA! At 4.5 months old, she’s still new to the world and approaches it with a sense of wonder. Her foster says, “Burrata is a curious little weirdo in the best way - like a tiny alien checking out her new planet.” She loves to explore and is interested in you, but she doesn’t demand attention... she knows she’ll get it anyway. With her winsome, sweet demeanor and tendency to curl up right next to new friends, she’s very easy to love.

In fact, her foster pronounces Burrata “the perfect kitten” for her combination of youthful entertainment and affectionate, gentle nature often seen in more mature cats.

What sets this little cheeseball apart from the rest? She’s got the athleticism of a Physical 100: Italy contestant, Alex Honnold’s free solo abilities, and the comic timing of a slapstick cartoon. Once she’s made your sides split with laughter with her quirky ways, she’ll plop on your lap and you’ll wonder how in the world you ever lived without her.

Tested, vaccinated, scheduled to be spayed in mid-October

All cats and kittens are rescued from the streets, abandoned, or pulled from at-risk list at city shelter. All are vaccinated, tested for FIV and FELV, dewormed, and spayed/neutered (if old enough). If the kitten is not old enough to be spayed/neutered we will do so at a later date, post-adoption. All adoptions require an application and donation.
