Meet Slurpee — Your New Favorite Treat!

Some cats are sweet... and then there’s Slurpee! This adorable one-year-old tortoiseshell has a heart as sweet as her name, and she absolutely LOVES people.

Slurpee was found hanging around a 7-Eleven, where she had apparently decided that greeting customers was her full-time job! Whether people were stopping for gas, grabbing a snack, or heading into the store, Slurpee was always there to say hello.

One of our volunteers noticed this incredibly friendly little girl and started spending time with her. It quickly became obvious that Slurpee was far too loving to be living outdoors without a family of her own. So, our volunteer rescued her and brought her into Southern Counties Rescue.

And Slurpee hasn't changed her opinion about people one bit! Walk into the room and she’ll happily trot over to greet you, rub against your legs, and make sure you know she’s there. We imagine her saying, “Hi! Where have you been? How was your day? Can I keep you company?”

She’s the kind of kitty who makes you smile just by being around. Sweet, affectionate, friendly, and ready to trade her days of hanging around the 7-Eleven for a cozy home and a person of her very own.

Slurpee is spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and negative for FeLV/FIV, so she’s all ready to begin her next chapter.
