Meet Rowdy – A Little Different, But A Whole Lot of Love!

Hi, I'm Rowdy! I'm a handsome 2-year-old boy with a big heart, an affectionate personality, and a story that started with quite an adventure!

When I was just a tiny kitten, only a few weeks old, I somehow managed to crawl up into the drivetrain of a car. I held on for dear life until the car finally stopped and someone found me. Unfortunately, the heat shield caused severe burns, and as a result, I lost my hearing.

But here's the thing... being deaf has never stopped me from enjoying life! I may not hear you calling my name, but I certainly know how to show you just how much I love you. I'm a very cuddly, affectionate boy who adores my human and loves being showered with attention.

My current home has another young female cat and a dog. I get along with the dog, but unfortunately, the resident cat and I haven't become friends. She has had a difficult past herself and simply doesn't tolerate me. My human loves me dearly, but she wants me to have the opportunity to enjoy a home where I can feel completely comfortable and be the center of someone's world.

It breaks her heart to let me go, but sometimes love means finding the place where someone can truly thrive.

I'm looking for a loving, patient home where I'll be cherished for the wonderful boy I am. Because I'm deaf, I'll need a little understanding and some visual ways to communicate, along with a safe environment (especially indoors or in a secure enclosure).

I may not hear you say "I love you," but I promise I'll feel it!
