DESCRIPTION

Hello nice peeples! My new name is Harley. I think it really should be Lucky, but Harley is nice too. I have been without a home since spring and was really beginning to feel badly. I couldn't find any food when I was hungry and nobody wanted to help me. They yelled and made me go away. Then it was so hot. And the creek dried up. I didn't know what to do. Lucky for me, two people knew I really needed help and gave me a place to stay and more good food than I could imagine! I was beginning to feel very ill, so I really was very lucky. I saw a nice doctor and got some medicine, so I am mending quickly. I am a very good boy and I haven't had a single accident since I arrived. I lived in a house when I was just a kitten. I remember the rules. I like the kitties here and get along with them. I am really hoping for a place where I can go outside as well as watch TV and help you cook. I was already sleeping with the other kitties on mom's bed by the third day I was here. The kitties were okay with me. It was nice. My mom says to mention that I am kinda a velcro kitty. I don't know what that means, but she says it is good. I like hoomans and even nice doggies and would be fine with small hoomans, if they are nice and don't hurt me. I have a funny personality and am learning about toys and playing with feathers. So much to do! I would love a nice family. I am about 11 months old. Just a big kitten, really. Mom says I will grow to my feet and be a very big boy! I have soft, short hair and will be easy to groom. I really, really like being brushed and kissed. Thank you for reading about me. I hope I can be your guy. I still need my neuter and to finish my meds, but I will be ready for my forever home very soon. Can it be with you? Thanks for reading about me! With yellow kitty love, Harley Foster mom notes... This is a great cat. He arrived so emaciated and was likely just about to crash. But, he responded to sleeping and eating for a solid 4 days and began showing his silly personality. He loves to be held and kissed. He really thinks combs and brushes are amazing. Any loving attention is taken in and returned 2 fold. He is easy to feed and very particular about foods he enjoys-I will provide a list-and still is sleeping a lot. All part of recovery. He was on the streets at least 6 months. He has discovered balls and feathered items. Very popular! He absolutely wants to go outside, but he alaso clearly has been in a house before. No issues, but hates the evil vacuum. I believe with patience and repetition, he has the sweetness and curiosity to be an adventure cat, on a retractable leash! He is very good with the box and the other kitties. He has terrific manners! I think he would be amazing in a quiet, kind family setting. He is very lonely when I cannot hold or talk to him. He would thrive with a kitty companion. but, he is not an apartment kitty if you work all day. He is a cat door kinda guy He is a very special boy. I truly hope you will consider him. And oh, those amber eyes...
