DESCRIPTION
Maruka just needs someone willing to earn her trust.
Maruka was trapped and rescued from Solano County after a rough start to life. At just 3.5 months old, this adorable little Manx kitten is learning that people can be safe, gentle, and full of love.
Maruka is shy. Really shy. She isn't going to be the kitten who runs up and climbs into your lap the moment you meet her — but please don't let that make you overlook her.
Move slowly. Speak softly. Give her time.
Once Maruka realizes she's safe, the walls start coming down. She'll let you pet her, pick her up, and snuggle her and underneath all that uncertainty is actually a little girl who LOVES being cuddled.
She just needs someone with patience, a warm heart, and maybe that special little knack for winning over shy kitties.
Maruka LOVES other cats and happily runs, wrestles, and chases her foster siblings around the house. A confident kitty friend could be a wonderful companion for her.
Her favorite things include little mice and balls she can bat around, wand toys, laser lights, crunchy treats, and Churu. And when she loses sight of a toy, she makes the tiniest little chirp while searching for it.
Maruka may take a little more time than some kittens.
But sometimes the cats who make you earn their trust are the ones whose love feels the most special.
If you're a calm, patient person willing to give this sweet girl the time she deserves, Maruka might be waiting for you.
