DESCRIPTION
Meet Charles!
Born on March 21, 2008, Charles is a handsome male Cape Parrot looking for a home of his own.
Charles may be a little cautious when meeting new people, but once he feels comfortable, his personality truly shines. He loves spending time out of his cage, enjoys riding on a shoulder, and will often reward his favorite people with singing and dancing performances. He is a very sweet boy who enjoys attention, though he prefers one-on-one interactions rather than being surrounded by lots of people at once.
Like any good parrot, Charles has a mischievous side too! He absolutely loves chewing cardboard and has also discovered that floors can be surprisingly fun to chew. For that reason, he does best with plenty of enrichment and a sturdy tree stand where he can safely play and explore.
Charles is searching for family willing to give him time to build trust and form a bond. Once you earn his friendship, you'll have a loyal companion who loves being involved in your day and spending time by your side.
