Sugar - Conure Bird for Adoption in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Sugar is a Black Capped Conure.

He is about 17 years old and although we call him a "him", we don't know for sure.



Sugar came to us because his mom was no longer able to care for him. He is a happy little bird who enjoys out of cage time and is a very strong flier.

He is an adventurous eater, he transitioned to chop and zupreem pellets within days in his foster home. He seems to be willing to try new foods and he really enjoys shredder toys.

The conure is a small to medium sized parrot known for its vibrant plumage, playful demeanor, and sociable nature. These intelligent birds are native to the Americas and have become popular pets due to their friendly and affectionate personalities. Conures are highly social birds that thrive on interaction with their human companions, and are known for their charming vocalizations and energetic antics. With proper care and attention, conures can make wonderful and entertaining additions to any household.
