Pickles - Conure Bird for Adoption in Coquitlam, British Columbia

Pickles is a handsome bird who arrived after finding his way to someone's patio, even though his wings are partially clipped. He is a very friendly bird and was easy to handle fairly quickly after he arrived. We say "he" but we don't know for sure as conures require DNA testing to confirm sex.

Green cheek conures can live 20-30 years and we don't know how old Pickles is. He has lots of newer feathers so it's possible he is younger, so prepare for a long term commitment.

Conures are intelligent and require more than a cage and some toys. They need regular enrichment, training and interaction. Like most birds they can also be loud and are not always the best choice for condo or shared wall living.

The adoption fee for Pickles is significantly higher than other small birds and we match local exotic bird rescue fees.
