He enjoys stepping up for handling, loves giving his signature "kiss kiss," and has a small vocabulary of words and phrases. Like most cockatoos, he craves attention and interaction and wants to be involved in everything you're doing.
He also comes with all the classic cockatoo quirks! Peanut is very loud and absolutely loves to scream. He is not suited for homes where noise is a concern. He also has a mischievous streak where he frequently flies onto people's heads and isn't afraid to use his beak. Peanut will bite, sometimes with little warning, so he will need an experienced adopter who understands parrot body language and is comfortable working with a bird that can be unpredictable.
