Hello everyone! I am Flora and me and my bff Stella are two very sweet young cockatiels. We are so young that we don’t even have our adult feathers yet, but you can tell that once they molt in we are going to be very beautiful young ladies! The vet seems to think we are sisters, but we haven’t had our DNA tested so who knows for sure? We are new to being at our foster home and still a little skittish about things, but our foster mom is working with us every day to get us to open up more.

I am the more bold of the two of us, and Stella is a little more shy. I am the first to try new food, like vegetables. Our foster mom says we are very good about eating healthy pellets, but if we have seeds or millet we’d prefer to eat those instead so she has to make sure we don’t have too many.

We are pretty peaceful and quiet during the day, but if things are happening or there’s music playing we get excited and like to whistle and sing. We also like to look out the window and love toys made of coconut husk that we can nibble on.

Since we are so young and still getting used to everything, we would do best in a home without cats, dogs, or young children. We seem to be okay with other birds, but really need a home where we can get lots of attention. If we sound like we could be a good match for you, why not fill out an application and maybe we can meet?

Flora and Stella would love a “Welcome to Foster” gift. They especially love coconut husk toys and things they can chew and shred. Their wishlist can be found here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/registry/wishlist/S3C0SH7PJMXZ/ref=cm_wl_huc_title

An avian veterinarian has properly vetted all birds before they are placed up for adoption. Adoption fees include the bird’s cage IF the bird has a cage - most do, but please ask!
